Museveni supports media relations between China and Africa

The media campaign known as "African Partners" organized by China Media Group (CMG) will promote media relations between China and Africa, and strengthen practical cooperation between them.

This has been explained by the presidents of African countries. The event, has been used to support the activities for the meeting of the Forum for Cooperation between China and Africa (FOCAC), aimed at strengthening media exchanges and cooperation between China and the African continent,

At the same time, the event is said to strengthen cultural exchanges and joint training in the digital age.

Several African presidents also expressed their desire to strengthen the exchange of information between China and Africa and ordered practical cooperation in their video messages at the event.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has said, "Since China is a friend of Africa. I support the press conference being held in Beijing."

"I am sending our young people, I want them to be involved. You know, there is nothing I don't know about China, and they know us too, but I want the young people to connect with you fellow young people." he added
