Nigerian Minister: Killing of Palestinians in Gaza is not justified
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria has said that the war of genocide carried out by the Israeli administration against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip cannot be justified in any way.
Yusuf Tuggar said this in an interview with al-Jazeera television channel and added that, "This war must be stopped immediately. Nothing can justify the use of excessive force against innocent women, children and young people in Gaza.
While criticizing the duplicity of the West in relation to the war, the high-ranking Nigerian diplomat said Abuja supports the creation of two states as a solution to the Palestinian crisis and emphasized that Palestine has every right to have the power to govern itself and create an independent state .
"The world should stop duplicitously reacting to the ongoing killings in the besieged Gaza Strip," added Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs in an interview with al-Jazeera.
This comes a few days after Jeje Odongo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda, said he was very saddened by the failure of the international community to resolve the Gaza crisis at a time when the illegal regime of Israel is carrying out genocide against the Palestinians in the area.
Until now, the war of genocide has led to the killing of more than 30,500 Palestinians, most of them women and children, while more than 72,000 others have been injured.
South Africa is among the African countries that have been at the forefront of condemning the war launched by the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023. At the end of 2023, the country opened a case in the International Court of Justice ICJ, accusing Israel of genocide against the Palestinians of Gaza.
