On the occasion of International Women's Day: More than 12,000 Palestinian women have been killed in the Gaza war

The Palestinian Authority's Information Department in the Gaza Strip has announced that: 12,316 Palestinian women have been martyred in the genocidal war of the Zionist regime of Israel against the people of Gaza.

A statement issued today, Saturday, by the Palestinian Authority's Information Department in Gaza on the occasion of International Women's Day said: "In the Gaza war, 13,901 women have been widowed and 17,000 mothers have lost their children."

The report said that 2,000 Palestinian women and girls have suffered permanent disabilities as a result of the brutal attacks of the Israeli regime, and in the most recent phase, dozens of Palestinian women have been arrested and tortured in Israeli prisons.

The office stated that Gazan women are facing a slow death due to the siege, lack of health facilities and the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Palestinian territory.

The reports say: The war and brutal attacks by the Zionist Israeli regime against the oppressed people of Gaza have had a greater impact on women and children, creating a vulnerable environment for them.
