Russia threatens to hit Bayraktar factory in Ukraine
Russian parliamentarian Dimitri Belik made a statement that Bayraktars will become a "legitimate target" regarding the drone factory they built in Ukraine.
Russia reacted to the Bayraktar group's announcement that the drone factory being built in Ukraine would start production within a year. Dimitri Belik, Member of the International Relations Commission of the Russian Parliament, stated that the Bayraktar factory will become Moscow's 'legitimate target'. Haluk Bayraktar, Baykar's Chief Executive Officer, announced to the Reuters news agency at the World Defense Fair in Saudi Arabia last week that the TB-2 factory being built in Ukraine will start production within a year. The factory to be built near Kiev would have the capacity to manufacture 120 drones per year, but it was understood that it had not yet been decided how much of this would be TB-2 and how much would be TB-3. Two days after this statement, a remarkable warning came from Russia. Member of the International Relations Commission of the Russian Parliament, Dimitri Belik, said that the Bayraktar factory will become a "legitimate target" of Moscow.
