South Korea and Poland cooperate in the nuclear sector
South Korea and Poland have discussed cooperation on nuclear energy, weapons and infrastructure, promising to work together to rebuild war-torn Ukraine. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol met with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda in Warsaw to discuss ways to expand cooperation with Poland in the fields of defense and high technology, including clean energy, next generation batteries, electric vehicles and information technology.
The two countries agreed to be "optimal partners" for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Yoon arrived in Warsaw on Wednesday for a three-day official visit after attending the NATO summit in Vilnius. It is Yoon's first bilateral visit to a European country since he took office. He is also the first South Korean president to pay an official visit to Warsaw since Lee Myung-bak in 2009.
During a joint press conference following his meeting with Duda at the presidential palace, Yoon said the two countries have already made many strides in their strategic partnership established in 2013, with trade reaching a record 9 billion dollars last year. The two leaders also condemned the missile test recently conducted by North Korea, urging it to cease these activities. Poland has filed an appeal with the EU Court of Justice (Cgue) against one of the provisions comprising the European Green Deal.

In line with our previous statements, today we as Poland filed our first appeal to the ECJ concerning one of the measures of the Fit for 55 package," he tweeted. Polish Climate Minister Anna Moskwa.
