According to Siyavush Novruzov, a member of the Milli Mejlis, Armenians are not only opposing the process of border demarcation, but also trying, according to his description, to take revenge for the loss of Shushi by instigating the imposition of Western sanctions against Azerbaijan.
"Today, the American congressman or the French deputy, who is unable to find Azerbaijan on the map, suddenly began to recognize, say, Azerbaijani judges and demand sanctions against them," declared Novruzov, claiming that apart from Armenians, they are also working against Azerbaijan.
