There is a serious fear that even today Azerbaijan has territorial claims against Armenia

Armenia still has serious fears that Azerbaijan still has ambitions and territorial claims. As "Armenpress" reports, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this during the press conference held in Yerevan after the meeting with German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock. The minister reminded that during the last three years, Azerbaijan invaded the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia several times. "Unfortunately, even today there are serious fears that the neighboring countries, particularly Azerbaijan, still have ambitions and territorial claims against Armenia. There are also certain reservations regarding RA sovereignty, particularly when it comes to, for example, regional infrastructures. So, those fears still exist today," said Mirzoyan. According to him, they are working on the settlement of border problems with Azerbaijan, but there is no clear solution yet. "The settlement process is going on, sometimes it seems that we are close to the solution, and sometimes we see that new obstacles are emerging," Mirzoyan said.
