Zionist Cabinet approves legalization of 9 West Bank settlements

AL QUDS - The security cabinet of the Zionist regime approved the legalization of 9 Zionist settlements in the West Bank on Sunday evening. The Hebrew-language newspaper Yediot Ahronot reported that a meeting of the regime's security cabinet was held and it was agreed to legalize 9 out of 77 illegal settlements. Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Zionist Minister for Internal Security, had requested legalization.

Also, the Zionist cabinet has agreed to expand security operations against Palestinians in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) in response to an operation that killed 3 Zionists and wounded 2 others. After the security cabinet meeting, Itamar Ben-Gvir tweeted: "I am pleased that the cabinet has approved my request to authorize the legalization of 9 settlements, but that is not enough and we want more."

On the other hand, Palestine Liberation Organization secretary-general Hussein al-Sheikh said ways would be explored to respond to the Israeli cabinet's recent decisions, and that this all-out war against the Palestinian people requires immediate international intervention and binding decisions to end it to force the occupying regime to stop the aggression.

Israeli forces arrested two Palestinian teenagers in the occupied West Bank on suspicion of preparing alleged stabbings. This was reported by the AAA citing Israeli sources. The arrests come after an Israeli soldier was killed and a settler (Jewish extremist) was injured in knife attacks in the eastern part of the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem). During the first incident, which took place on Monday afternoon, a 13-year-old Palestinian living in the Shuafat refugee camp allegedly attacked a soldier with a knife who was seriously injured and later died in hospital. Also according to this report, one of the soldiers fired in the direction of the young Palestinian but hit another of his colleagues. According to hospital authorities, his conditions are very serious and his life is in danger.
