Zionist Media's Celebration of Terrorism in Syria Sparks Controversy

The sentence "the enemy of our enemy is fighting our enemy" has become more and more important since Zionist media have not been able to hide their seeming support of terrorism in Syria. Recent occurrences have brought attention to a troubling trend whereby Zionist outlets seem to celebrate crimes carried out by terrorist organizations, therefore casting doubt on Israel's contribution in advancing imperialist objectives.

Reporting for al Alam television in Ramallah, Faris al Sarfandi cited a story from the Zionist Maarev newspaper stating, "Erdogan's fighters are fighting the Muqawama Camp." Such headlines have grown common, he pointed out, thanks to Zionist media—including Israeli television—that tells similar stories. These assessments tend to show the continuous fighting in Syria as complementing Israeli goals.

Expert in strategic affairs Ashraf Akkah also expressed this opinion, telling an al Alam reporter that the Zionist media seemed to welcome the anarchy in Syria, especially the acts of terrorist groups. Akkah underlined that the violence he witnesses as encouraged by Israel and the United States seeks to undermine the work of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance forces. For those against Zionist policy, these events also highlight Israel's inability to fulfill its goals in Gaza and Lebanon, therefore aggravating the present circumstances.

Political analyst Ali Laour also observed the matter and said that the Zionist celebration of terrorism goes beyond what the media reports. He clarified that as terrorist groups in Syria keep their violent campaign against the Syrian people, Israeli politicians and security officials have also voiced gratification. Laour attacked the ramifications of this support, implying it compromises the actual efforts of Palestinian and Lebanese soldiers defending their rights and sovereignty.

Alarms are still raised by the concerning cooperation between Zionist interests and terrorist actions in Syria. Many people are wondering the actual reasons behind the assistance for these organizations as the crisis carries on since they view it as part of a more overall plan to destabilize the area and advance Zionist objectives.
