Despite the massacre of hospital patients in Gaza, the US once again opposed the ceasefire in Gaza by vetoing the UN Security Council resolution. According to the ANM news agency, the Russian embassy to the United Nations said in response to the American action: "Our American colleagues continue their policy of double standards regarding the Gaza issue." United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on Wednesday for an immediate ceasefire to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza and release prisoners.

US President Biden arrived today Wednesday just before 11am local time in occupied territories to announce Washington's support for Israel. Biden, who has expressed “ironclad” support for Israel in its war on the Gaza Resistance, was welcomed on the tarmac by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The US president immediately expressed support for Israel's war against the Palestinians, claiming that an Islamic Jihad rocket would hit al-Ahli al-Arab hospital. This is while the Strip's Health Ministry says that at least 500 people were killed in the Israeli air raid on the Al-Ahli Arabi hospital in Gaza.
