Anti-Zionist protests spread across America
Protesters in support of Palestine and condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime demonstrated on the streets of the American city of Chicago.
Mass gatherings in support of the Palestinians and requests for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, in addition to cities and countries around the world, took place in many different parts of the United States, including in academic and educational centers. Eli Newell, a senior member of the anti-Zionist Jewish group IfNotNow and one of the organizers of the Chicago protests, said he wants a ceasefire in the occupied territories, RT news agency reported. He called the Israeli regime's criminal attacks on Gaza "collective punishments that will not contribute to anyone's security." A coalition of Jewish groups against the Zionist regime organized a demonstration in Chicago. During the demonstration, dozens of protesters blocked a major Chicago intersection for two hours before being attacked by police.
With the continuation of the horrific crimes committed by Zionists in Gaza and the publication of painful images of these crimes, anti-Zionist protests have spread to many American cities and states, including Minneapolis, New Orleans, San Francisco, Denver, Philadelphia and Illinois. Thousands of these protesters demanded an immediate ceasefire in the occupied territories, holding street demonstrations. In Brooklyn, thousands of people demonstrated in support of the Palestinians and the establishment of a ceasefire in the occupied territories, more than 100 of them were arrested by the police. Protesters in Philadelphia sharply criticized local media for not covering or downplaying their demonstration, which took place with a large crowd at the city's art museum. Recently, UN human rights experts warned world leaders in a statement that the Zionists intend to commit genocide in Palestine.
