Biden will mention the condition of allowing Ukraine to attack North Korean troops
US President Joe Biden has said that Ukrainian forces should attack North Korean soldiers if they cross the border and enter Ukrainian territory.
Biden has said this following allegations that Pyongyang has sent its soldiers to fight side by side with Russian soldiers in the war against Ukraine.
The Pentagon claimed this week that 10,000 troops from North Korea have arrived in Russia.
It is alleged that, some of the soldiers have been transported for the possibility of being sent to fight the Ukrainian troops in the Kursk Region of Russia, where some of the forces of Kiev have remained there after invading the area in August.
When asked by the media whether Kiev should "retaliate" against North Korean troops, Biden responded by saying: "If they cross into Ukraine, yes." However, he did not clarify the position of the United States, if the Ukrainian troops continue to remain in the Kursk region, which Washington recognizes as an area of Russian territory.
Moscow and Pyongyang signed a bilateral agreement earlier this year that allows for military assistance when one of the two countries is attacked by a third party.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has refused to confirm or deny information about the presence of North Korean troops in Russia.
