Following Netanyahu's victory in the elections in the occupied territories, there were high hopes for an acceleration of the normalization process with Islamic countries under his leadership. The Abrahamic Agreements were seen as a potential turning point. However, it quickly became clear that these expectations were misplaced, and the reality has been quite different. Netanyahu's extreme right-wing cabinet has hindered rather than advanced normalization efforts.

Nine months have passed since Netanyahu's government took office, and so far, the Zionist regime has failed to establish normalization with any Islamic country. Despite months of effort, there has been no substantial progress in achieving a normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, the actions and statements of the extreme ministers within Netanyahu's cabinet have not only distanced the Zionist regime from achieving normalization with Saudi Arabia but have also strained relations with Arab countries that were previously open to normalization. The Zionist government's mistreatment of Palestinians has fueled public opinion in Islamic countries, leading to an unprecedented level of animosity towards the regime. As a result, the prospects of normalization between the Zionist regime and Islamic countries have become even more remote.

A recent meeting between the foreign ministers of the Zionist regime and Libya exemplifies this phenomenon and its consequences. The Zionist regime's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a "historic" meeting between Najla El Mangoush and Eli Cohen in Rome, considering it the first step towards establishing relations. However, this news was met with widespread backlash in Libyan public opinion.

The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs promptly rejected the notion of an official meeting, and massive protests erupted across various regions of Libya in response to the meeting. In light of these events, the head of the National Unity Government of Libya, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, suspended the Libyan Foreign Minister and initiated a judicial investigation into her actions. The Libyan parliament also announced an extraordinary session to investigate the unconstitutional and immoral nature of the meeting.

The Libyan people expressed their outrage through demonstrations held in various parts of the country, vehemently condemning any normalization of relations with the Zionist regime. According to reports, Najla El Mangoush fled to Turkey due to security concerns.

Benjamin Netanyahu criticized the disclosure of the meeting, stating that it was an unusual event and did not help relations. He issued instructions for secret meetings to be authorized prior to disclosure.

The Biden administration expressed its strong displeasure with the Israeli regime over the disclosure of the meeting, further complicating relations between the two nations.

The widespread and vehement reaction of the Libyan people, political parties, and authorities to the normalization attempt with the Zionist regime highlights the fact that the Zionists are not welcome in Islamic countries. The dream of future normalization with Islamic countries is futile, and attempts to create a favorable image of the Zionist regime within Islamic societies are destined to fail.

The Libyan incident sends two important messages: first, the normalization process with Islamic countries in the region has come to an end, and second, it serves as a warning to leaders of other Islamic societies against engaging in any relationship with the Zionist regime. Leaders and officials of Islamic countries have witnessed the events in Libya and are now aware that official normalization with the Zionist regime will have significant repercussions.

It is now evident that the Zionist regime's normalization efforts with Arab countries have stalled. For nearly nine months, the Zionists have sought to improve their situation across the region through normalization with Islamic countries, but they find themselves in inexorable circumstances. Public opinion in Islamic countries remains firmly against the Zionists, and their attempts to whitewash their actions through propaganda are futile.

Contrary to the beliefs of the Zionists, the cause of Palestinian freedom remains resolute and strong among Islamic nations. The views of Islamic communities towards the Zionist regime as an illegitimate and occupying entity have not wavered, and they never will.
