Russian army advances in Donetsk

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the takeover of the Donetsk town of "Sviridonovka".

The Russian Defense Ministry issued a statement on Sunday on the situation on the battlefield with Ukraine, reporting that as a result of active combat operations, units of the "Center" battle group liberated the town of Sviridonovka in Donetsk, Sputnik news agency reported.

According to this report, Russia's advance in Donetsk continues, the majority of Ukrainian forces that have infiltrated Kursk are under control, and Russian military operations continue.

In response to the Ukrainian attacks, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova noted that Ukraine's recent missile and drone attacks on Russian territories were aimed at destroying civilian infrastructure, adding that "the harsh response of the Russian armed forces will not take long."
