Turkey's president condemns Israel as a war crimes regime
Turkey's president has accused Israel of a war crimes regime.
According to Reuters, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at a large pro-Palestinian rally in Istanbul on Saturday, accusing Israel of being a war crimes regime . "Israel has been committing war crimes for the past 22 days, and Western leaders have failed to respond, let alone call for a cease-fire." He added, "We will clearly tell the whole world that Israel is a war crimes regime. We are preparing for that." President Erdoğan of Türkiye He emphasized that Hamas is not a terrorist organization, pointed to Israel as an occupier, and criticized the unconditional support for Israel by some Western states. The rally was one of the largest since the outbreak of war between the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas and Israel, and Erdogan's speech lasted about an hour.
