Ukraine War: From Drone Destruction to Belarus Warning

The destruction of Ukrainian drones and missiles by Russia, the sound of alarm sirens on Ukrainian territory, a powerful explosion in Kiev, and Belarus' warning about the closure of the Ukrainian Embassy in Minsk are among the news of the war in Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry recently released a statement regarding the shooting down of a number of drones and missiles belonging to Ukrainian forces.

In its statement, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the country's Armed Forces' air defense system, Saturday night in various regions, managed to shoot down 32 drones and four Tochka-U tactical missiles belonging to Ukrainian troops.

Hours earlier, the acting governor of Russia's Kursk Region, Alexei Smirnov, reported that 13 people were injured by a Ukrainian missile that hit an apartment in Kursk, and two of the victims were in serious condition.

On the other hand, France 24 reported on Sunday that after Ukrainian Air Force troops gave warnings about a Russian missile attack on Kiev, several explosions rocked the country's capital.

The command staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on social media accounts, announced that the air defense systems of the country's troops are on full alert.

In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force also announced that Russian drones had launched attacks on five points in Ukrainian territory.

The Russian counter-attacks came after Ukrainian forces, in an extraordinary attack, shelled Kursk province, on the country's western border. The Russian president called the attack a "major provocative attack" by Ukraine.
