Zelensky threatens to attack the Russian fleet in the Black Sea

The Ukrainian regime would be ready to launch a new attack on the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, an operation similar to the one that led to the sinking of the cruiser Moskva. This was announced by Defense Minister Reznikov during a briefing. "We can offer the Russians another surprise at sea, another missile on their ships. We are just waiting for the right moment." Reznikov also did not stress that he would not disclose the details of the sinking of the Russian cruiser Moskva.

More than 200 soldiers have returned home thanks to a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine. Kiev has released 106 Russian soldiers while Moscow has released 100 Ukrainians. This was announced by the Defense Ministry of Russia and President Zelensky's chief of staff.

General Waldemar Skrzypczak, former commander of the Polish land forces, said so in an interview with the local newspaper Rzeczpospolita, quoted by the Sputnik news agency. In his view, a "strategic impasse" has formed in the Ukrainian crisis and everything points to the approaching moment when the conflict will have to be closed "politically". Therefore, notes Skrzypczak, in the near future we should presumably expect an attempt to reach a compromise between Moscow and Kiev.

“It is important that from Zelensky's point of view this is not a secret train visit to Warsaw at night, but an official visit of the President of Ukraine to the President of Poland. I think this is the first in a series of trips of this like. Zelensky needs to start creating an atmosphere of political support around him. He has military assistance, but now, when the end of the conflict is approaching, in my opinion, he needs political support," the Polish general said.
