Biden's reaction to the murder of a Palestinian child in the US

A Chicago man stabbed a 6-year-old Palestinian boy and seriously wounded his mother, police said Sunday in Illinois. An innocent child died in hospital after being stabbed 26 times in their Plainfield home. Joe Biden reacted to the murder of a Palestinian child by an extremist in the United States and noted that for many years, Washington's policies in support of the Israeli regime led to an escalation of the regime's crimes against the Palestinians. Biden wrote on social media site X, without mentioning the child's Palestinian citizenship:

"We have learned of the brutal murder of a child and the attempted murder of his mother in Illinois. Our condolences and prayers go out to his respected family." Biden said this heinous act against a Palestinian Muslim family has no place in the United States. The US President said: "As Americans, we must unite and reject Islamophobia and all prejudice and hatred. I have said many times that I will not be silent in the face of hatred. We must be outspoken." The criminal act of 71-year-old Joseph Chuba, who killed this Palestinian child, demonstrates the spread of extremism, racist violence and hate violence in the United States. A few days ago, Alejandro Mayorkas, the US Secretary of Homeland Security, acknowledged that violent extremism is the biggest threat to the US.
